COUTURE DRESS 'EMPIRE'

ABOUT

The revolutionary as well as the empiricism are the successor of the Rococo and include a third style, the Directoire. These clothing epics, like the politics of the time, were exceptionally short and fast paced. The revolutionary fashion lasted from 1789 to 1795, the directoire covered the period from 1796 to 1804 and was replaced by the Empire fashion, which came to an end in 1820.
