Baroque is the epoch of European art history lasting from about 1575 to 1770. It is divided into the sections Early Baroque (up to about 1650), High Baroque (about 1650-1720) and late Baroque or Rococo (about 1720-1770).

The development of historical epochs can be seen very well in the clothing and hairstyle fashion – as well as the various currents of the Baroque. In other areas of cultural history, changes mostly took place. In fashion, on the other hand, bills of exchange were always spontaneous and sudden, mostly inspired by famous personalities. The fashion of the Baroque was influenced by the great European courts.
